Trial run commences on Noapara – Dum Dum Cantt Stretch of Kolkata Metro Rail Project

The 3 km stretch was built by Senbo Engineering under a Rs 127 crore contract awarded in 2011. Construction is also ongoing between Dum Dum Cantt. and Jessore Road stations, with completed roofing and interior finishes at Dum Dum Cantt. Station. While no official announcements have been made regarding service commencement, the trial run indicates progress towards expanding Kolkata's urban transportation system.

yeh trial run, clearances check karne aur smooth operation ensure karne ke liye tha. Yeh 3 km ka stretch Senbo Engineering ne banaya tha, jisko 2011 mein Rs 127 crore ka contract diya gaya tha. Dum Dum Cantt. aur Jessore Road stations ke beech construction bhi chal raha hai, jisme Dum Dum Cantt. Station pe roof aur interiors ke kam complete ho gaye hain. Halanki, service commencement ke bare mein koi official announcement nahi aaya hai, lekin trial run se Kolkata ke urban transport system ko expand karne ki taraf progress dikh raha hai.
