train connecting KSR Bengaluru & Mysuru Junction, recently was changed to KJM WAP7 link, yes; you read that correct – KJM WAP7. Krishnarajapuram Loco shed no longer is a pure diesel loco shed, in the month of August 2019; 5 WAP7s were transferred to KJM Shed from Royapuram (RPM) Shed in Chennai; thus making KJM the first Dual traction shed of South Western Railways. Prior to electrification; Tippu Express used to get WDP4/WDP4B/WDP4D from Hubli/KJM Sheds. After sanctioning of electric locos to ply on the Mysuru route; Tippu got RPM WAP7 as its link, soon to be replaced ex-RPM, KJM WAP7s.
This video shows a few old clips of Tippu Express along with attempting to showcase the transformation of link from D to E.

Hey guys!! Thanks for seeing this video. Hope you enjoy it.
In a Bid to capture the Palace Queen Humsafar; which was supposedly coming with a bleed blue KJM WDP4, I had gone to a scenic location in the Bengaluru Mysuru Section. Among all the captures that day, the Humsafar was the only diesel hauled train spotted. So, here I present to you a small compilation of trains in that section that have shifted to electric links. Hope you enjoy it, more of it will come soon.

Hey guys!! Thanks for seeing this video. Hope you enjoy it.
The Palace Queen Humsafar Express is one of the 34 Pairs of Humsafar Express trains that serve the Indian Railways Network. It was inaugurated from Mysuru on Feb 19, 2018 & ran for the first time from Udaipur on Feb 26, 2018. The train has Rake Sharing Arrangement (RSA) with 22985/6 Rajasthan Humsafar Express that runs between Udaipur & Delhi.
The regular link for this train is an EMD from BGKT Shed; or an ALCo from ABR/RTM Sheds, but it

is known to get a variety of offlinks. The RSA train Rajasthan Humsafar was spotted on 21.07.19 in Delhi with a bleed blue liveried KJM WDP4, a rare spotting in those areas. This led my friend Natarajan & I to believe the same loco might return with the Palace Queen Humsafar. So we visited the Mysuru line on the following Wednesday (24th), but were surprised to see a normal liveried WDP4 leading the train. This led us to interpret that maybe the following day, an offlink will lead the train again, and so it was, a WDG4 from Pune shed was hauling it. We saw a delayed PQHS rush through Malleswaram on its way to Udaipur.
