(SAN) manufactured 400hp Diesel - Hydraulic Locomotive NDM6 #605 "Buccaneer" (hydro-dynamic transmission) of Tindharia (TDH) DLS leading the empty rake of 02541 New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling Narrow Gauge (NG) Special Train towards New Jalpaiguri NG platform for its onward journey to Darjeeling.

A steam service from Kurseong to Darjeeling climbs up the hills chugs to its full effort emitting a thick cloud of steam on a day when Diesels were on repairs. Thanks to the efforts put in to capture the hill for this a leech sucked quite some blood out of my feet which was realized at New Jalpaiguri
