भटनी, औडिहार, फेफना, मऊ, शाहगंज दोहरीकरण प्रोजेक्ट के दौरान मऊ जं. पर वर्तमान में मौजूद प्लेटफार्म संख्या 02 एवं 03 को मिलाकर एक प्लेटफार्म तथा इसके अतिरिक्त 2 और प्लेटफार्म बनाये जाने की योजना प्रस्तावित है।
अत: दोहरीकरण के पश्चात 05 प्लेटफार्म मऊ में यात्री गाडियों के लिये उपलब्ध हो सकेंगे।
