In the last ever Trip that I went on before the Lockdown started, I had been to Toothukudi (Tuticorin) for a training. For my return Journey, I decided to visit Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, one of 6 abodes of Lord Murugan in Tamilnadu. From there, I boarded the 16106 Tiruchendur - Chennai Egmore Express. This train is the only express train plying in the Tiruchendur - Tirunelveli branch line; it's coach composition and their positions are more or less fixed, owing to platform length issues of the station in this route. Therefore, the coach board indicators of all the halts in this route for this train are printed and displayed on Poles.

Its been almost 5.5 months since trains ran on Chennai.
My first train spotting on Chennai was 02635 Chennai-Madurai Vaigai Covid19 SPL lead by DLMW made RPM WAP7 39001, followed by 02636 Madurai-Chennai Vaigai Covid19 SPL lead by DLW made ED WAP7 37371.
