I would like to tell a few things about the CSTC Bus Route S-48A (BBD Bag to Behala Xing):-
.
1) The LED Route Board of this bus route's AshLey Buses doesn't work for most of the times so commuters will have to see it's cardboard made Route No plate placed on the bus windscreen.
.
2)
...
This bus doesn't run regularly from BBD Bag and is usually an evening service towards Behala.
.
3) Commuters can board this bus to travel directly to Behala or the other options are like traveling by an EMU of Circular Railway from BBD Bag to Majerhat followed by a Majerhat to Behala bus journey.
.
4) Mini Buses from BBD Bag to Behala are also available that travel via shorter routes like PTS - Alipur Zoo (near Taj Bengal) alignment but they get congested in a while. S-48A remains partly crowded or not crowded at all during evening while office goers are on their way to their homes.
.
5) Just ask the conductor while getting into this bus if it will travel from BBD Bag to Majerhat/Taratala via the Diverted Route i.e. PTS - Hastings - Khidderpore or its Normal Route i.e. via Bhawanipore - Chetla - New Alipur.
.
PS: Mention of S-48A CSTC Bus by me on an Online Complaint Board
.
Thanks :)

A once in a 'blue-moon' tweet from DRM Sealdah, mentioning the extensions of platform in Calcutta Circular Railway to be 12 EMU ready.....
She is hopeful that ER would be able to run 12 coached EMUs in 'CCR' soon......
