Komagata Maru Budge Budge (KBGB) is a railway station in Budge Budge, South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is located on the Sealdah-Budge Budge line. The station has limited amenities, with a single platform and basic waiting facilities. The station holds historical significance as it was the site of the arrival of the Komagata Maru, a Japanese ship that transported Indian immigrants back to India from Canada. কোমাগাতা মারু। ভারতের স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামের এক কম আলোচিত ইতিহাস। কানাডার অভিবাসন আইনের প্রতিবাদ করার জন্য বাবা গুরদিত সিং সান্ধু জাপানী জাহাজ কোমাগাতা মারু ভাড়া করে ৩৭৬ জন যাত্রী নিয়ে ভ্যাঙ্কুভার এর উদ্দেশে যাত্রা শুরু করেন। এই জাহাজ ২৩/৫/১৯১৪ তে ভ্যাঙ্কুভার পৌঁছায়। কিন্তু কানাডার সরকার এদের মধ্যে ৩৫২ জনকে ২৪/৭/১৯১৪ তারিখ পর্যন্ত আটকে রাখার পর ফেরৎ পাঠায়। কোমাগাতা মারু বজবজ বন্দরে ফিরে আসে ২৯/৯/১৯১৪ তে। কিন্তু বিপদের শেষ এখানেও হয় নি। ব্রিটিশ সরকার ক্লান্ত, ক্ষুধার্থ এই যাত্রীদের জোর করে বজবজ ষ্টেশনে অপেক্ষমান বিশেষ ট্রেনে তুলে পাজ্ঞাব পাঠিয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করে।...
