Howrah-Patna Janshatabdi, the Tata-Godda, and the Ranchi-Dumka Express, experienced delays ranging from 1.5 hours to 4 hours. Railway officials have confirmed that they are working to restore the track and resume operations as soon as possible. The Kumbh Express has been rescheduled for a 12-hour delay and is expected to depart from Howrah at 2:00 AM. The Patna Janshatabdi is also expected to depart from Howrah around 2:30 AM. 'Pratham Swatantrata Sangram Super Express' cancelled. Four trains, including the Vande Bharat Express and the Purva Superfast Express, were operated on a single line. Other trains had their routes modified, with some terminated at Jhajha. The route modification affected trains like Kolkata-Amritsar Akal Takht Express, Patna-Dhanbad Intercity, Raxaul-Hyderabad Express, and Patna-Puri Express. Numerous special trains operating on the Asansol-Kiul-Patna-Howrah line were canceled, while the routes of others were modified. Passengers faced significant inconvenience as a result. The railway had announced the 13-hour power and traffic block in advance. Specifically, the following trains were canceled: 03681/03682 Asansol-Jasidih-Asansol Passenger, 03538/03539 Jasidih-Andal-Jasidih Passenger Special, 03769/03770 Jasidih-Jhajha-Jasidih MEMU Special, 03573/03574 Jasidih-Kiul-Jasidih Passenger Special, 03233/03234 Deoghar-Jhajha-Deoghar MEMU Passenger Special, 03675/03676 Asansol-Jhajha-Asansol Passenger, 03581/03582 Jasidih-Banka-Jasidih DEMU Special, 03677 Asansol-Jasidih Passenger, 03571 Jasidih-Mokama MEMU Special, 02023/02024 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Superfast Special Express, 13029/13030 Howrah-Mokama-Howrah Express. The routes of other trains were also modified. For example, the 13331/13332 Patna-Dhanbad-Patna Intercity Express was rerouted via Patna, Gaya, and Dhanbad. The 17006 Raxul-Hyderabad Weekly Express was rerouted via Kiul-Bhagalpur-Rampurhat-Sainthia-Andal-Asansol-Dhanbad. The 08440 Patna-Puri Special was rerouted via Patna-Gaya-Dhanbad-Asansol. The 12317 Kolkata-Amritsar Express was rerouted via Dhanbad-Gaya-Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay. The 18183 Tata-Ara Superfast Express was terminated at Asansol and returned to Tata. The mega block resulted in fewer passengers at Jasidih station, which impacted railway revenue.
