16515 Yesvantpur - Karwar Express (tri-weekly, via. Kunigal) departs from Shravanabelagola, gains its sectional maximum permissible speed (MPS) and then arrives at Channarayapatna. This portion of railway line lies on the Bengaluru - Shravanabelagola - Hassan portion of the Bengaluru - Mangaluru railway line.
The train was hauled by hardcore ALCo WDG3A 13297 of DLS Krishnarajapuram (KJM), SWR.
