विलंब से रवाना हुई। चालक को मुरादाबाद कार्यालय में तलब किया गया है।
गुरुवार की रात पौने आठ बजे जनसेवा एक्सप्रेस सीतापुर ब्रांच लाइन पर जा रही थी। इंजन पर ड्राईवर मोहम्मद असलम थे। बरतारा रेलवे स्टेशन के निकट इंजन की कपलिंग खुल गई और ट्रेन दो भागों में बंट गई। चालक ने किसी तरह कपलिंग को जोड़ दिया। इसके बाद उचौलिया के पास कपलिंग खुल गई। ड्राइवर ने कंपलिंग को फिर जोड़ दिया और सीतापुर की तरफ ट्रेन बढ़ायी। तीसरी बार उचौलिया तथा जंगबहादुरगंज रेलवे स्टेशन के बीच जनसेवा एक्सप्रेस की कपलिंग खुल गई तो चालक ने रेलवे कंट्रोल को इसकी जानकारी दी। रोजा से इंजन गया और ट्रेन को वापस लेकर रोजा स्टेशन आया। सीनियर लोको इंस्पेक्टर सुरेंद्र पाल, टीआइ एसके यादव, एनके अंसारी कपलिंग को चेक किया। दूसरा इंजन ट्रेन को लेकर दो घंटे बाद सीतापुर की ओर रवाना हुई। दो घंटे तक यात्रियों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा। अधिकारियों ने संयुक्त रिपोर्ट बनाकर डीआरएम कार्यालय भेज दी है, रिपोर्ट में चालक को दोषी माना गया। डीआरएम कार्यालय में इंजन के चालक को तलब किया गया है।
