the Hajipur-Sugauli rail project, mentioning that trains are currently operational between Hajipur and Paru and will extend to Bhopatpur and Areraj by 2025, reaching Sugauli by 2026. Singh emphasized his role in advocating for the project in 1996 and its approval by then Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha. He also mentioned the upcoming development of a world-class bus stand in Motihari at a cost of 200 crores and encouraged people to visit the Charkha Park in Motihari after March 9th. He further announced the installation of a statue of Mahatma Buddha in the Kesariya block and discussed various government schemes. The Chief Engineer of the railway, R.K. Badal, confirmed the commencement of train operations from Kesariya by the end of 2024. The event was attended by former MLA Sachindra Singh, BJP state leader Mayankeshwar Singh, and former Chairman of Kesariya Nagar Panchayat, Rinku Pathak.
