This approach eliminates the need for new stations and reduces maintenance costs. The railway completed the installation of 14 kilometers of automatic signaling in April 2024, including Kumhari-Sarona (7 km) and Bilaspur-Gatora (7 km). With this project, the automatic signaling system from Nagpur to Sarona is fully operational. The system between Sarona and Raipur is expected to be completed within the next three months. This automation will benefit the South East Central Railway by reducing passenger train delays caused by heavy freight traffic, enabling multiple trains to operate within a single block section, and enhancing the implementation of safety systems like Kavach and the centralized traffic control system.

Isse new stations banane ki zaroorat nahi hai aur maintenance ka kharcha bhi kam hota hai. Railway ne April 2024 me 14 kilometers automatic signaling ka kaam pura kiya hai, jisme Kumhari-Sarona (7 km) aur Bilaspur-Gatora (7 km) shamil hain. Is project se Nagpur se Sarona tak automatic signaling system fully operational ho gaya hai. Sarona se Raipur tak ka system next three months me complete ho jayega. Ye automation South East Central Railway ko benefit dega kyunki heavy freight traffic ki wajah se passenger trains ki delay kam hogi, ek hi block section me multiple trains chal sakengi, aur safety system like Kavach aur centralized traffic control system ko implement karne me madad milegi.

Long-distance trains are running three to five hours late due to ongoing railway development work. Due to a block on the Waltair railway line between Singpur and Raigarh, the Raipur-Visakhapatnam passenger train will be cancelled for a week. The Bilaspur-Tirupati Express on the same route is also cancelled, leading to passengers seeking refunds for their tickets. Other trains affected include the Jharsuguda-Gondia Memu Special, which ended at Bilaspur on Sunday, January 21st, and the Gondia-Jharsuguda Memu Special, which started from Bilaspur. The LTT-Visakhapatnam Express will depart five hours late on Sunday, January 22nd. The LTT-Visakhapatnam Express will depart two hours late on Tuesday, January 23rd. The Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express will depart eight hours late on January 25th. Sunday, 21 January ko Jharsuguda se chali 08862 Jharsuguda Gondia Memu Passenger Special train Bilaspur pahunch kar khatam ho gayi aur Bilaspur-Gondia ke beech cancel rahi. 08861 Gondia Jharsuguda Memu Passenger Special train Gondia ki jagah Bilaspur se Jharsuguda ke liye chali aur Gondia-Bilaspur ke beech cancel rahi. Raipur-Durg section mein Kumhari aur Bhilai stations ke beech automatic signalling aur other upgrades ke kaam ki wajah se non interlocking kiya jayega. Is wajah se Sunday subah se Monday, 22 January ki subah 6 baje tak lagatar kaam chalega. Sunday ko Visakhapatnam se chali 22847 Visakhapatnam-LTT train panch ghanta late chali. Tuesday, 23 January ko 22848 LTT-Visakhapatnam Express do ghanta late chali. 25 January ko Visakhapatnam se chali 18573 Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express aath ghanta late chali. Agra rail mandal ke Palwal-Mathura section mein Mathura Yard ka modernizing ke liye non interlocking ka kaam start ho gaya hai. Is wajah se Sunday se 4 February tak 18237 Korba-Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express cancel rahi. Bilaspur mandal ke Raigarh-Kirorimal stations ke beech JSPL cabin mein fourth line connectivity ka kaam karne ke liye non interlocking kiya ja raha hai. Isse bhi char dinon tak kai trains affected hongi. 23 se 25 January tak 08738/08737 Bilaspur-Raigarh-Bilaspur Memu, 22 se 24 January tak 08736 Bilaspur-Raigarh Memu Special, aur 23 se 25 January tak 08735 Raigarh-Bilaspur Memu cancel rahegi. Is dauraan beech raaste mein Gondia se chali Gondia-Jharsuguda Memu Bilaspur station par khatam hogi. Issi tarah 23 se 25 January tak Jharsuguda-Gondia Memu bhi Bilaspur tak hi chlegi.
