Girder Launching of new Foot Over Bridge at Santaldih (SNTD) completed on 29.01.2023. For the work 140T Break Down Crane named "Garuda" of ART/ADRA was brought along with Tower Car of Adra, Purulia and Bhojudih for OHE works.

Pooja Kumari reported the theft to the police after she got off the train on Saturday. In another incident, Madhavi Halder, a resident of Jhargram, had her bag stolen from the Anand Vihar-Bhubaneswar Sampark Kranti Express near Santaldih Station, containing Rs. 15,000 in cash and a mobile phone.
