Notably, the district already has a network of large and small railway lines, but there is no direct rail service from the district headquarters to Lucknow. With the survey of the Jarwal Road railway line completed and land acquisition underway, construction is expected to start in September. This project is expected to be completed by 2027.

Bahraich se Jarwal Road rail line ka survey kaam pura hone aur zameen ka adhigrahan kaam hone par September se nirman shuru hone ki ummeed hai. Yah project 2027 tak pura ho sakta hai.
