Manik Saha ne Agartala-Deoghar Express train ko flag off kiya, jismein LHB coaches hain. Unhone yeh bhi bataya ki Prime Minister Modi ne northeast mein infrastructure ko improve karne ka promise fulfill kiya hai. Center government ne Agartala station ko world-class facility mein badalne ke liye Rs. 260 crore allocate kiye hain aur 3 stations - Dharmanagar, Udaipur, and Kumarghat - ko Amrit Bharat stations mein badalne ke liye Rs. 93 crore diye hain. Chief Minister ne rail services mein hone wala improvement ke liye gratitude diya aur yeh bhi bataya ki state mein express and local trains ki number kaafi badh gayi hai, jo pehle impossible lagta tha.

Kamalasagar Kali Temple which is also known as Kasba Kali Bari, is a popular shrine of the Bengali population residing in Tripura. Located at a distance of 27 kms from Agartala, the temple is situated at the borders of India and Bangladesh. The Dhaka - Chittagong Main line is just 50 meter from zero line .
