Udaipur l Representatives of the Railway Struggle Committee Mewar met Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi today and demanded that the existing railway line from Barisadad to Mavli be turned from Bhatewar overbridge, passing through Darauli Dabock and connecting to Debari.
Praveen Dak, representative of the Railway Struggle Committee Mewar, said that in the future, with the addition of the Neemuch-Barisadad-Udaipur railway line, the number of trains on this line will increase, making this railway line necessary so that trains coming from Barisadad Neemuch can be directly routed to Udaipur instead of taking them to Mavli. This will save the railway a lot of money and time. Also, there will be no need for power change in Mavli.
Along with this, Dabock's Maharana Pratap Airport will also be connected to the Neemuch-Barisadad railway line.
The devotees coming to the three famous religious places of Chittorgarh district, Shri Sanwaliya Ji, Shri Avari Mata Ji, Shri Shani Maharaj, will also be able to benefit from rail travel to nearby stations.
Praveen Dak also gave a 5-page report prepared under the guidance of Dr. Vimal Nagori, convenor of the Railway Struggle Committee Mewar, and a blueprint of the new railway line to MP CP Joshi.
Before leaving for the airport, CP Joshi had said yesterday that he would forward it to the railway and take it in the process.
