on the tracks for over two hours. The Muzaffarpur railway police took possession of the body, conducted a panchnama, and sent it to SKMCH for post-mortem. The woman's identity remained unknown late into the evening. The railway police have kept the body for 72 hours for identification. Locals suspect foul play, stating that the body was cut in two, leading to the belief that the woman was murdered elsewhere and her body dumped on the tracks. The railway police, however, claim that the case can only be investigated after the woman is identified. Locals reported the body to the station master and Kanti police after spotting it on the tracks in the morning. The woman is suspected to have been hit by a freight train on the main line. The Muzaffarpur railway police inspector, Ranjit Kumar, stated that it is still unclear which train she was hit by, and investigations are underway. It remains unknown whether the woman fell or was hit by a train, or if her body was dumped on the tracks after a murder.

Railway police ka kehna hai ki aurat ki pehchaan hone ke baad hi maamle ka khulasa ho payega. Subah mein, local logon ne track par shav dekhkar station master aur Kanti police ko bataya. Aashanka hai ki aurat main line par maalgadi ki chapet mein aayi hai. Muzaffarpur railway police ke thanedar inspector Ranjit Kumar ne bataya ki ab tak yah spashta nahin ho saka hai ki woh kis train se katee hai. Jaankari jutai jaa rahi hai.
