Construction work on the new terminal of Shivamogga and Coching depot at Kotegangur has already started. It must have been going on for quite some time. A new track has been laid on an elevation and has been put into operation. The old track has been dismantled, and the old road underbridge (RUB) has been demolished. Groundwork is going on in full swing. A new road underbridge (RUB) is being constructed, as seen in Picture 5. Picture 8 shows construction work on the other side of the track, all other pictures are facing the station side. On board the 16206 MYS TLGP ICE train passing through the new line at around 20 km/h. A satellite terminal, Coching depot, and a goods terminal are going to come up at this location.
