Onboard 02605 Pallavan Covid19 SPL.
An year back, its the day which filled many surprises, mystery, thrills, setbacks exciting experience in my journey!!
We...
more... departed on time from Chennai sharp at 3.45 PM lead by RPM WAP7 30475.
Then we departed Tambaram with slight extended halt (10 min).
Everything went smooth even past Chengalpattu, upon crossing Ottivakkam, a sudden screeching halt.
As collaged in above pictures, we halted before LC. We thought it might be CRO, but signal near LC turned from green to red. we waited for an hour and we started to move but again got stopped before Palar bridge, after few time signal on Palar bridge too turned from green to red.
After 1.5 hour halt here, we started to move, but heard honk at back too, so were are experiencing unofficial push pull (or only push).
Crawling at 10kmph, after 1 hour we reached Karunguzhi and was looped again.
Behind, there was 02633 Chennai Kanyakumari Covid19 SPL, which was being delayed due to us, as we were stuck in middle of path, it couldn't OT us. Finally it overtook with delay of 2 hours lead by RPM WAP7 30538 at Karunguzhi.
Then our rescuing loco TWIN GTL WAG7 were moved from back to front, and finally we departed Karunguzhi around 9 50 PM with delay of 5 hrs. Thus, an ICE train got converted to ONT train.
Reached Villupuram at 11 10 PM with 5 hour delay. We were halted for 35mins, and delay got 5.5 hours. But now, even more surprise were added as those WAG7 were detached (Both Panto Up) along with failed WAP7 and an EMD is attached!!
Thus an history is revived, Pallavan is back with diesel on Chord line🤩😍🔥(during that day alone).
EMD roared, hummed and finally we reached Ariyalur at 1AM with delay of 5 hrs 20 mins. Before reaching Ariyalur, 02638 Pandiyan Covid19 SPL bound to Chennai crossed us🤣🥴!!!
Thus ending an horrible, exciting, thirlling setback!!!
