This bridge will run parallel to the railway station, connecting Ganpat Mahto Chowk to Shantinagar Road and won't be directly connected to the station itself. Additionally, the station's beautification plan includes two new passenger sheds, ticket counters, a large new gate on the up line, and a lift on the pedestrian overbridge. The ADRM also assured that concerns regarding work on the down line platform would be addressed and rectified.
