Dangoaposi. The memorandum, signed by land owners from Amadaia and Dakuwa forests, had four key demands. Firstly, they requested immediate employment and compensation for 18 land owners from Amadaia and 8 from Dakuwa forest, whose land was acquired for the expansion project. Secondly, they demanded immediate demarcation of the land acquired from 7 land owners in Dakuwa forest, whose land is yet to be demarcated, and subsequent employment and compensation. Thirdly, they protested the placement of 200 land owners from Kharagpur Division in West Bengal in the Chakradharpur Railway Division, demanding their immediate relocation to their home division and prioritization of local residents for employment in the Chakradharpur division. Finally, they requested employment for dependents of deceased railway employees, along with compensation, and the elimination of commission charges in the settlement process.

The incident is suspected to be the result of a land dispute with the woman's relatives, specifically her husband's uncle and brother. The suspects are currently on the run, but the police are investigating the case and an SIT team has been formed to investigate the incident. The police are confident that the perpetrators will be apprehended soon.

The woman and her two children were from the same family. The bodies were discovered by locals on Saturday morning. The police, after initial suspicion of suicide, were informed about the incident. The police investigation revealed that the victims were tied up and beaten to death before their bodies were dumped on the railway tracks. The woman's 14-15-year-old daughter escaped the attack and witnessed the murders of her brother, sister, and the unidentified man. A local, Jumbal Sinku, identified the woman's body as his brother's wife and confirmed that it was murder, not suicide. The police, including the SDPO Jagannathpur, a forensic team, and a sniffer dog, are investigating the incident. The SDPO confirmed that the victims were murdered elsewhere and their bodies were then disposed of on the railway tracks to make it appear like suicide.
