Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar thanked the Prime Minister for the new line and announced that the government would also pursue a Metro connection between Gurgaon and Faridabad. Meanwhile, Kinet, a leading manufacturer of electric passenger trains in India, has commissioned the Marathwada Rail Coach Factory (MRCF) in Latur, Maharashtra. This facility, spread over 351 acres, will produce Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches and contribute to the modernization of India's railway network. The MRCF features 11 assembly stations, various workshops, and sustainable infrastructure, including a solar power plant and wastewater treatment plant. The facility is expected to employ over 10,000 people and contribute to the economic development of the region.
