She regained consciousness and reported the incident to the Railway Police, leading to a zero FIR being registered at Jasidih Railway Police Station. The victim reported that she went to Baba Hotel in Jamui on July 16th with a man named Habla to work in catering, at the request of her acquaintances Deepa and Pinky Saw from Baligunj. She alleged that she was taken to a room near Hanuman Temple where she was assaulted by three unknown men on July 17th. The assault continued for seven days until July 23rd, when she was drugged and put on a train from Mallepur station. The victim identified Habla, Deepa, Pinky Saw, Roshan, Roshan's brother Mukhiya, the owner of Baba Hotel, and other unknown individuals as the accused.

Hospital mein hoshi aane par usne Railway Police ko puri ghatna batayi, jiske baad Jasidih Railway Police Station mein zero FIR register ki gayi. Peedita ne bataya ki 16 July ko, uske doston Deepa aur Pinky Saw, Baligunj se, usko catering ka kaam karne ke liye Habla ke saath Jamui ke Baba Hotel le gaye the. Wahin pehle se Pinky Saw aur Roshan naam ka ladka maujud tha. Usne bataya ki un dono ke kahne par usko Hanuman Mandir ke paas ek room mein le jaaya gaya. Usne arop lagaya ki 17 July ko, teen unknown ladko ne uske saath jabardasti ki. FIR mein yeh bhi likha hai ki 7 din tak, 23 July tak, uske saath alag alag logo ne us room mein rape kiya. 23 July ko usko Mallepur station se drugged karke ek train mein bhej diya gaya aur aropi bhag gaye. Jab usko hoshi aayi to woh khud ko Devghar Sadar Hospital mein ilaaj karvaate huye paya. 24 July, Budhvaar ko, usko bataya gaya ki RPF ne use ilaaj ke liye hospital mein admit kiya hai. Usne puri ghatna Jasidih Railway Police ko bataayi. Peedita ne Habla, Deepa, Pinky Saw, Roshan, Roshan ke bhai Mukhiya, Baba Hotel ka owner aur aur bhi kai unknown logo ko aropi banaya hai.
