Additionally, 34 stalls were inaugurated at 18 stations in Chhattisgarh under the ‘One Station, One Product’ scheme. Other inaugurations included Jan Aushadhi Kendras at Janjgir-Naila and Pendra Road railway stations, an upgraded pitline at Durg coaching depot, and a rail coach restaurant in Bilaspur. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for a Vande Bharat maintenance depot in Bilaspur, a MEMU car shed extension in Bhilai, and a new pitline construction in Ambikapur. The event was attended by Chhattisgarh Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who highlighted the importance of these projects for the state’s development and job creation.

The 17 stations being redeveloped are: Sarona, Mandir Hasaud, Hathbandh, Nipania, Bhatapara, Dongargarh, Korba, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon, Bhilai Nagar, Bilha, Baikunthpur Road, Ambikapur, Uslapur, Pendra Road, Janjgir Naila, Champa, Baradwar, Dallirajhara, Bhanupratappur, and Bhilai. In addition to these stations, 21 other stations will be developed, along with 83 Road Over Bridges and Road Under Bridges, offering modern passenger amenities like rooftop plazas, landscaping, intermodal connectivity, modern facades, children's play areas, kiosks, food courts, and eco-friendly and disabled-friendly facilities.
