The project, initially planned for completion in October 2021, faced delays due to COVID-19 and other issues. Is plant ki cost 310 crore INR hai, aur isse 25 saalon mein 360 crore INR ki bachat hogi, kyunki solar power ki cost traditional sources se kam hai. Railway ka aim hai ki apne total power ka 20% green energy se generate kare, aur yeh plant 27 saalon ke liye construction company operate karegi, jisse maintenance aur continuous operation ensured hogi. Yeh plant railway ke ek bada initiative ka part hai jisme stations, buildings aur vacant land pe solar panels install kiye ja rahe hain.
