The goal is to complete the entire project, including the construction of a third bridge at Ramgarhtaal, by December 2024. The railway board has extended the third line project from Khalilabad to Baitapur (85km). The project also involves a LiDAR survey for the Domingarh-Khalilabad stretch of the third line.
