Train to Ayodhya is possible via Gangavathi, only once remaining portion of Karatagi - Raichur new line completes. As Hubballi has terminal facilities, this train can start as Hubballi - Ayodhya Exp via Raichur, Nagpur.

Run Hubli to Ayodhya via Koppal GTL SC NGP JBP Allahabad.
Don't try to run a train from Mysore via Bangalore and Hubli to Ayodhya (pattern followed in SWR zig zag)

Hubli has just one long distance train that too a weekly train (UBL BSB). All other originating trains mostly weekly are just to neighbouring states. Wholly depending on Mysore & Bangalore originating trains is not good for a zonal HQ town, which has world's longest platform!!
No need to wait. Just start a train to Ayodhya and reroute etc can be thought of later.
