Morena District Hospital. The bridge, located on the Sikrauda branch line over the Kunwari River, became obsolete after the broad gauge railway track was laid. The collapse occurred while workers were removing the angle iron and girders from the bridge. The workers fell about 50 feet when the bridge collapsed, sustaining serious injuries.

train was stopped near Morena for approximately 13 minutes due to the accident. The Vande Bharat Express, which does not have a scheduled stop at Morena railway station, was travelling at full speed. The incident occurred around 10:15 am when the train was near the Shikarpur railway crossing. The bull came onto the tracks, and the train hit it, dragging it along for nearly a kilometre. The bull was dismembered, and the train's engine's fibre body was severely damaged. Morena railway station in-charge Jay Prakash Sharma informed that the train was halted between 10:16 am and 10:29 am to remove the bull's carcass from the front of the engine.

Bhopal se Delhi jaane wali Vande Bharat train ka Morena railway station pe koi stoppage nahin hai, isliye yeh train puri raftar se Morena se guzarti hai. Mangalvaar subah sawa 10 baje jab train Shikarpur railway crossing ke paas aayi, tabhi pathariyon par ek saand aa gaya. Tez raftar train ne saand ko takkar maari aur iske baad karieb ek kilometer tak saand train ke aage ghisatata gaya. Haadse me saand ke do tukde ho gaye aur train ke engine ki fibre body bhi buri tarah kharab ho gayi. A 42 km section of the 165 km line between Jhansi and Dholpur is already operational, with trains running on segments between Jhansi, Gwalior, and Lalitpur. The track between Morena and Hetampur is complete, and is expected to be operational after approval. The third railway line is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Jhansi and Dholpur.
