Hubballi to Pune Vande Bharat Express to be launched soon

A new Vande Bharat Express train service will soon connect Hubballi to Pune, traveling through Dharwad and Belagavi. This will be the second Vande Bharat Express service from Hubballi.

This has led to passenger dissatisfaction. While Kirloskarwadi generates over ₹2.5 crore annually through ticket sales from the four express trains that currently stop there, the station is denied stops for important trains like the Mirj-Nizamuddin Darshan Express, the Hubli-Rishikesh Summer Special, and the Hubli-Muzaffarpur Summer Special. This situation is particularly frustrating given the high volume of ticket sales for the Mirj-Pune Weekly Special, which generated significant revenue for Kirloskarwadi and Sangli on May 7th. In contrast, the same train generated only ₹570 in revenue at Satara, which received stops for all trains.

Kirloskarwadi har saal ₹2.5 crore se zyada revenue generate karta hai, chaar express trains ke ticket sales se jo wahaan rukti hain, lekin station ko important trains jaise Mirj-Nizamuddin Darshan Express, Hubli-Rishikesh Summer Special aur Hubli-Muzaffarpur Summer Special ke liye stops dene se mana kiya ja raha hai. Yeh situation kaafi frustrating hai, kyunki 7 May ko Mirj-Pune Weekly Special ke ticket sales se Kirloskarwadi aur Sangli mein kaafi revenue generate hua tha. Iske ulat, issi train se Satara mein sirf ₹570 ka revenue generate hua, jisko sabhi trains ke liye stops diye gaye hain.

RDX at these stations. Police officers, including Superintendent of Police Sandeep Ghuge and Additional Superintendent Ritu Khokar, reached Sangli and Miraj stations along with police teams. All police stations in the district were alerted, and roadblocks were set up. Vehicles were searched, and ambulances, fire department, and hospitals were put on high alert. The bomb squad thoroughly searched Sangli and Miraj stations, but found nothing suspicious. The search involved officers from the local crime investigation department, riot control unit, and anti-terrorism squad. Security was also heightened at crowded places in Sangli and Miraj. Inspector Satish Shinde of the local crime investigation department said that the search for the person who made the threat is underway and advised citizens not to believe rumors.
