The final approval will be granted by the Railway Board, followed by the selection of a construction agency. This process may take six months. The redevelopment project is part of the Amrit Bharat Yojana. Smart parking facilities will be implemented at both stations, with only authorized vehicles allowed entry. Parking will be granted only after presenting tickets at the counter. The parking facility will have a capacity of 1000 vehicles and include 50 CCTV cameras. The shopping mall will be accessible without tickets, but passengers will need tickets to access the platform. The mall will feature train status displays, ATMs, water purifiers, and a first-floor reservation and general ticket counter. Other amenities include a milk parlor, a VIP lounge, and a children's zone.
