Railway Board ne Gorakhpur se Lucknow ke beech ek section mein chauthi line ke survey ko approval dene ke saath hi Gonda se Budhwal tak 61 kilometer line ke liye survey bhi shuru ho gaya hai. Survey pura karne ke baad agency apni report nirman vibhag ko soumpegi. Report ke aadhar par DPR banai jaayegi. Iske baad project ko vittiya manjuri milegi aur chauthi line ka bhi kaam shuru ho jaayega. Poorva Uttar Railway ka yeh pehla section hai jahaan chauthi line ke liye survey shuru kiya gaya hai. Poorva Uttar Railway ke CPRO Pankaj Kumar Singh ne iski pushti ki.
