Trains continued to operate on all tracks except the one where the work was taking place. The installation of high-quality equipment will also increase the speed of trains. Raebareli railway station has 5 platforms and 8 rail lines. Trains have to pass through the turning point when changing lines or entering a platform. The speed needs to be reduced while passing through the turning point. There are 18 turning points around the railway station, equipped with over-riding switches. These switches are being replaced with high-quality thick web switches. The work has been completed at 5 turning points, and the 6th one was completed on Wednesday. The station superintendent, Ravi Ranjan, said that the work was carried out between 11:25 am and 1:55 pm with a block on line number 4. Train traffic was stopped on line number 4, while operations continued uninterrupted on other rail lines.

with several passenger trains, including the Punjab Mail and Janata Express. Trains were stopped at Utrethia, Mohanlalganj, Sriraj Nagar, and Bachrawan stations, causing inconvenience to passengers. The tree, felled by a contractor near Kalander Kheda, fell on the track, severing the OHE wires. The incident was reported by the gateman to the Kanakha station master. A team of railway personnel, including senior divisional engineers, reached the site and removed the tree, repaired the OHE wires, and restored the track by 4:30 PM. The Lucknow-Raebareli intercity train was the first to depart after track restoration. The Bachrawan RPF in-charge filed a case against the contractor at the Nigohan police station. Nine trains, including the Arunachal AC Superfast, Nauchdi Express, Awadh Assam Express, Anand Vihar Muzaffarpur Garibrath, Farakka Express, Gorakhpur Express, Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express, Muzaffarpur Special, and Patna Special were delayed due to the incident. Villagers believe that a major accident could have occurred if the tree had fallen while a train was passing by. The senior divisional engineer confirmed that the train tracks were cleared, and damaged OHE wires, cantilevers, and study arms were repaired by the team. The contractor, who fled the scene, is being sought by authorities.

Senior divisional engineers ki team, railway personnel ke saath, maidaan pe pahunche aur ped ko hataaya, OHE wires ki marammat ki aur track ko 4:30 PM tak restore kar diya. Lucknow-Raebareli intercity train track restore hone ke baad pahli train thi jo chali. Bachrawan RPF in-charge ne Nigohan police station mein contractor ke khilaf ek muqadma darj karaaya.
