While the railway initially announced the cancellation of the mega block, they have now issued a revised schedule, diverting and canceling trains due to the reinstated mega block. According to Railway PRO Khemraj Meena, the block is being implemented to connect the Palwal station and the New Parithala DFCC yard. This will result in the cancellation of 22 trains from the Ratlam Railway Division, while 14 trains will be diverted to alternate routes.

Despite calls from MP Shankar Lalwani for direct train service, the Ratlam Railway Division has not implemented any such plans. Indian Railways has upgraded all AC and non-AC coaches of the Indore-Mumbai Avantika Express (12962/12961). This upgrade includes the installation of scraper mats inside and outside the toilets of all AC coaches, improving hygiene and convenience for passengers.

Indore aur Mumbai ke beech chalne wali Avantika Express (12962/12961) ke saare AC aur non-AC coaches ko upgrade kiya gaya hai. Isme sabhi AC coaches ke toilets ke andar aur bahar scraper mats lagaaye gaye hain, jisse yaatriyon ko saaf-suthri aur aasan facility milegi.
