These special arrangements aim to ensure that people can travel easily during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja. Due to the high demand, waiting lists for trains have already crossed 100 for several routes, with no confirmed seats available for AC or sleeper classes until Diwali. The Eastern Corridor extends from Sahnewal near Ludhiana to Sonnagar in Bihar, while the Western Corridor runs from Dadri to Mumbai. Tunnel banane mein aaspaas ki aabadi ki wajah se kaafi mushkilen aayi, jiske liye controlled blasting ki technique ka use kiya gaya. DFC do corridors mein banaya gaya hai, jismein sirf maalgadiyan chalti hain. Eastern Corridor, Ludhiana ke paas Sahnewal se shuru ho kar Bihar ke Sonnagar tak jaata hai. Western Corridor, Dadri se shuru ho kar Mumbai tak jaata hai. 2,843 kilometer lamba DFC project mein se 2,741 kilometer ka kaam pura ho chuka hai, jo ki 96.4 percent hai. Agle saal ye project pura ho jaayega.
