Starting January 1st, Bareilly will get three new 'Amrit Bharat Express' trains. These trains will be operated by the North and Northeast Railways, and their schedules are currently being finalized. This addition is part of the Indian Railways' schedule changes for the new year.

Kuldeep Tiwari, informed that one sleeper coach will be added to the 14235 Varanasi-Bareilly Express from October 20th and one sleeper coach to the 04236 Bareilly-Varanasi Express from October 21st. Two general coaches will be added to the 14224 Varanasi-Rajgir Express from October 20th and two general coaches to the 14223 Rajgir-Varanasi Express. The Ramnagar-Chandigarh Express will terminate at Ambala on October 21st, and the Chandigarh-Ramnagar Express will originate from Ambala on the same date. The Saharsa-Amritsar Express will have a temporary halt at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Mohali station on October 20th, and the Amritsar-Saharsa Express will do the same on October 21st. The Lucknow Jn-Chandigarh Express will stop at Ghagghar station from October 18th to 23rd. Singh Nagar Mohali station instead of Chandigarh. The Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express will depart from platform 6 instead of platform 4 on Wednesdays and Sundays from October 19th to 27th. Additionally, redevelopment work at Jalandhar Cantt station will affect train operations from October 17th to 23rd. This includes short terminations for trains like the Saharsa-Amritsar Express and the Darbhanga-Jalandhar City Express. The Katihar-Amritsar Express will have its route changed and several trains will have rescheduled timings, including the Purnia Court-Amritsar Express, the Jaynagar-Amritsar Express, the Jaynagar-Amritsar Special, and the Lal Kuan-Amritsar Express.
