On Monday afternoon, a concrete mixer truck got stuck in the Old Railway Underpass in Faridabad, causing a complete traffic jam. driver fled the scene after the truck got stuck. Attempts to deflate the tires and pull the truck with a crane failed. Traffic was stopped by closing the gates on both sides of the underpass. Eventually, a gas cutter was used to cut the upper body of the truck, allowing it to be removed. This caused significant inconvenience to motorists. This underpass is a crucial link between the highway and the NIT area, used by thousands of vehicles daily. Traffic was severely affected on the highway, reaching Azrounda Chowk, and impacting the Neelam Bridge. The situation worsened with the influx of school buses. The underpass had been closed previously after two bank employees died due to waterlogging after heavy rainfall on September 23rd. It was reopened after six days. This isn't the first time a vehicle has gotten stuck in the underpass. According to a traffic police officer, the truck was refused entry due to its height, but the driver ignored the warning and entered the underpass. The driver was not found, but the truck's owner was identified. The truck belonged to an RMC plant and a new driver arrived at the scene. The police are investigating the incident and a case has been registered against the driver with the GRP.

Underpass ke dono taraf gate laga kar traffic band kar diya gaya. Aakhir mein, gas cutter ka use karke truck ke upper body ko kaat kar usse nikala gaya. Isse motorists ko kaafi pareshani hui. Ye underpass highway aur NIT area ke beech ek important link hai, jiska use har din hazaron vehicles karte hain. Highway par traffic bahut jyada affected hua, Azrounda Chowk tak pahuncha, aur Neelam Bridge ko bhi impact kiya. School buses aane jaane se situation aur kharab ho gayi. 23 September ko heavy rainfall ke baad Old Faridabad Railway Underpass mein waterlogging hone se do bank employees ki maut ho gayi thi. Iske baad underpass ko band kar diya gaya tha. Chhe din baad traffic phir se shuru kiya gaya tha. Ye pehli baar nahin hai jab koi vehicle underpass mein phans gaya hai. Traffic police officer ke mutabik, truck ki unchai bahut jyada thi, isliye use underpass mein jaane se mana kiya gaya tha, lekin driver ne warning ko ignore karke underpass mein ghus gaya. Driver nahin mila, lekin truck ka owner identify kiya gaya. Truck ek RMC plant ka tha aur ek new driver maidaan par aa gaya. mein unki XUV 700 car phans gayi. Paani zyada hone ke wajah se car lock ho gayi aur dono usmein phans gaye. Der raat dono ke shav nikale gaye. Ye ghatna hone ke baad, laapravahti par sawal uthaye gaye hain. Logon ka kehna hai ki yaha vikas ke bade-bade daave kiye jaate hain, par sachchaai ye hai ki zara-si barish mein sabhi daavon ki hawa nikal jaati hai.
