The train's return is seen as a political advantage for the Giridih MP and Baghmara MLA ahead of elections, while Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan and Dhanbad MP Pashupati Nath Singh face increased pressure from their constituents. The train runs between Chandrapura and Dhanbad, stopping at Deonagar, Jamuniatand, Phulwartanr, Sonardih, Katrasgarh, Sijua, Bansjora, Baseria, and Kusunda.
