Department officials estimate that the construction may take another six months to complete. The Amrit Bharat scheme included 33 railway stations in the Delhi division, including Shamli. On August 6th, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for projects worth 25 crores at the Shamli railway station under the Amrit Bharat scheme. The beautification work at Shamli railway station has not been completed within five and a half months. Only the station superintendent's office, control room, signal control room, and senior section engineer's office have been relocated to the new building. The foundation work for the 15-meter wide foot over bridge costing 15.5 crores has not yet started. On the Delhi-Shamli-Saharanpur railway line, railway gates are opened and closed manually. The North Railway has replaced the old system with an electric barrier system. Under the new system, the barrier will only open after pressing a button at Shamli, Nanauta, and Thanabhavan railway stations. The senior section engineer stated that the barrier system is under construction.

Vibhag ke adhikariyon ke anusar, nirman kaam pura hone mein abhi chhe mahine se zyada ka samay lag sakta hai. Bharat Sarkar ki Amrit Bharat Yojana mein, Shamli sahit Delhi Mandal ke 33 railway station shamil kiye gaye the. 6 August 2023 ko, Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi ne Amrit Bharat Yojana mein Shamli railway station par 25 crore ki yojanaon ki aadhar shila rakhi thi. Saadhe panch mahine mein Shamli railway station ke sundarisation ke tahat kaam pura nahi ho saka hai. Sirf railway station adhyaksh karyalaya kachh, control room, signal control room aur senior section engineer kachh ko naye bhavan mein sthapit karne ka kaam chal raha hai. Wahan railway station par abhi tak 15.5 crore ki lagat se 15 meter chaudaa foot over bridge ka kaam ki foundation kaam shuru nahi karaya gaya hai. Delhi-Shamli, Saharanpur railway marg par, railway faatkon ko chaabi lagaakar kholna aur band karna padta hai. Uttar Railway ne puraana system band karke electric barrier system laagu kar diya hai. Naye system ke tahat Shamli, Nanauta aur Thanabhavan railway station par button dabane ke baad hi barrier khulega. Senior section engineer ke mutaabik, barrier system par kaam chal raha hai.

The work of filling soil on the approach road has not been completed. Only two underpasses on the overpass bridge have been completed. The work of placing reinforcement bars to lay the lintel on the overpass bridge is to be completed. The construction of the Jhandedi overpass bridge will take more than six months to complete. Overpass bridge pe lintel daalne ke liye sarिये daalne ka kaam pura hona hai. Jhandedi overpass bridge ka construction pura hone mein abhi six months se zyada time lagega. Saharanpur district ke Rampur Maniharan mein overpass bridge construction ke liye makaanon ko dhwast karne ka kaam chal raha hai. Overpass bridge ka construction is saal ke aakhir tak ban kar taiyaar hone ki ummeed hai. Highway construction agency ke GM Jitendra Baliyan ne bataya hai ki Balwa overpass bridge ki approach road construction ka kaam February mein pura ho jayega. 15 February ke baad Balwa bypass chaloo ho payega. Jhandedi railway overpass bridge 30 June tak taiyaar ho payega.
