This would mean the 16-coach rake of the Durg-Visakhapatnam train would be allocated to the Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat, improving the latter's occupancy and providing confirmed tickets for passengers. Conversely, the Durg-Visakhapatnam train would operate with 8 coaches, which is expected to increase its occupancy to over 50%. This swap would also help the railway recover some of its losses. Additionally, the railway is considering adjusting the timetables of these trains. The Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat currently arrives in Raipur at 6:13 AM, followed by the Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat at 8:01 AM. The railway aims to reduce the gap between their arrival times to 5 minutes, potentially improving the utilization of the Durg-Visakhapatnam train.
