The system further ensures speed control, monitors driver performance, and provides in-cab signaling for improved visibility in foggy conditions. The implementation of Kavach 4.0 on this section involved installing 130 towers, over 1,200 kilometers of optical fiber cables, and numerous other infrastructure components. With this successful implementation, Indian Railways plans to extend Kavach 4.0 to more routes across the country, aiming to modernize rail safety and improve operational efficiency.
