Express service between Deoghar and Varanasi, starting on September 15th, will also pass through New Giridih and Koderma on its route to Varanasi. The proposed route for the Ranchi-Dumka Vande Bharat includes stops at Tatisilwai, Mesra, Barkakana, Hazaribagh Town, Koderma, New Giridih, Mahesh Munda, Jasidih, and Baidyanath Dham before reaching Dumka. The train is scheduled to depart from Ranchi at 5:00 AM, reaching Tatisilwai at 5:15 AM, Mesra at 5:23 AM, Barkakana at 6:15 AM, Hazaribagh Town at 7:10 AM, Koderma at 8:20 AM, New Giridih at 10:33 AM, and Mahesh Munda at 10:55 AM. Due to pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work on the Jasidih route of the South East Central Railway, four trains passing through Chhattisgarh will be canceled from September 10th to 22nd. The canceled trains include the Darbhanga-Secunderabad Express (train number 17008) on September 10th, 13th, 17th, and 20th.

numbers 192/14 and 102/15 near Gadi, close to the New Giridih railway station. The man jumped in front of a passenger train travelling from Koderma to Madhupur. The train driver was unable to prevent the incident despite seeing it. The police are trying to identify the deceased, who was not carrying any identification or mobile phone. The local residents are unable to identify him, raising suspicions that he may have been from outside the area.

Train driver ne yeh incident dekha, par usko rokne mein fail ho gaya. Police ko yeh incident ki jaankari train driver ne di hai. Police walon ne ladke ki identity find karne ki koshish ki, lekin wo koi ID ya mobile phone nahi leke chala tha. Local log bhi usko nahi pehchaan pate, jisse yeh doubt a raha hai ki wo kisi aur jagah se aaya hoga.

baat ki hai aur Salaia aur Maheshmunda pe Intercity Express ka stop aur Madhupur pe Vande Bharat Express ka stop ke liye kaha hai. Is demand ka Pachamba aur uske aas-paas ke logon ne swagat kiya hai aur unko umeed hai ki minister ne yeh assure kiya hai ki yeh stop jaldi hi start ho jaayega. Isse Gandiy area, Maheshmunda aur Pachamba ke villages ke logon ko fayda hoga. City ke logon ke liye bhi yeh stop bahut beneficial hai, kyunki New Giridih station bahut dur hai, aur especially surrounding villages ke liye, evening mein uss station tak pahunchna mushkil hota hai. MP Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmad, who had previously raised this issue in the Lok Sabha in 1980, brought it up again in the Rajya Sabha, demanding direct train services. He also highlighted the lack of attention paid to Giridih's railway needs by both the NDA government and the local representatives over the years. Currently, residents of Giridih have to travel to nearby towns like Dhanbad, Madhupur, or Parasnath to access train services. Dr. Ahmad also criticized the lack of stops for the Vande Bharat Express in Madhupur and the poor implementation of the Giridih-Ranchi intercity train service. He further criticized the practice of microphones being switched off when opposition members raise concerns in Parliament. Dr. Ahmad submitted a memorandum to the Railway Minister, demanding better connectivity for Giridih.
