This is part of the 4.5km Line 6 project between Goregaon and Kandivali, which will run along the eastern side from Goregaon to Malad and then shift to the western side from Malad to Kandivali. Churchgate/CSMT/Panvel se Goregaon jaane wali trains Andheri pe ruk jaayengi. Railway authorities ka maanana hai ki yeh blocks train operations ko behtar banaayenge aur existing lines pe congestion kam karenge.
