pilgrims coming here. To facilitate passengers during Maha Kumbh 2025, the railway administration has decided to run 20 trains from Chhivki in Prayagraj. The timetable for these trains has been released. These trains will only operate from Chhivki during the Maha Kumbh period. They will pass through Prayagraj Junction but will not stop there. Prior to the deployment of these 20 trains, the railway administration has decided to run 3 pairs of trains from Subedarganj railway station. The Prayagraj Express, which operates from Subedarganj railway station between January 10 and February 28, will depart from there at 10:15 pm. The train number 12403, Prayagraj to Bikaner Express, will depart from Subedarganj railway station at 11:15 pm between January 11 and February 27. The railway administration has also made some changes in the timings of 10 trains including the Udhana Express.

The central station authorities are sending a list of staff for mela duty. ACM (Assistant Commissioner of Metropolitan) Santosh Kumar Tripathi stated that approximately 100 personnel will be dispatched from Kanpur for the Kumbh Mela. Additional staff will be assigned upon demand from Prayagraj. Kanpur Central, Govindpuri, and Panकीधाम stations fall on the Delhi-Prayagraj route, leading to the preparation of special trains for devotees from the surrounding areas. In addition, special trains will be run in Kanpur based on demand.
