UP में 5 साल बाद इस जिले के लोगों की हुई मौज, नई रेल लाइन के लिए जमीन अधिग्रहण शुरु

A 240 km long railway line connecting Bahraich to Khalilabad via Shravasti in Uttar Pradesh was approved by the central government in 2018 after prolonged protests. This project was initially delayed due to land acquisition issues. However, the land acquisition process has now begun after five years, bringing joy to the...

residents of Shravasti. The project is crucial as Shravasti is the only district in Uttar Pradesh that lacks a railway line and public transportation. Despite having an airport, the district only has two flights per week to Lucknow. The new railway line will bring a significant boost to the region, improving connectivity, facilitating travel, and positively impacting the economy of hundreds of villages in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. The project was approved in 2018 after a long struggle by local residents led by Pankaj Mishra. The estimated cost of the project is 4940 crores, and the project was initially expected to be completed by 2024-25. However, due to the delay, the project faced another round of protests in December 2023, prompting the Northern Railway to initiate land acquisition. The railway line is expected to improve transportation, create employment opportunities, and increase land prices in the area.

Uttar Pradesh mein Bahraich se Khalilabad via Shravasti tak 240 kilometer lambi rail line ke liye 2018 mein center government se approval mil gayi thi, par land acquisition mein delay ke wajah se project rok gaya tha. 5 saal baad, land acquisition process shuru hone se Shravasti ke logon mein khushi...

hai. Shravasti Uttar Pradesh ka aisa district hai jahan par ab tak koi rail line ya public transport nahi hai. Hawaai jahaaz toh hai, par sirf 2 din mein Lucknow ke liye flight hai. 240 km ki rail line se, Shravasti mein connectivity badhega, travel aasan hoga aur Purvanchal ke hundreds of villages ki economy boost hoga. 2018 mein, Pankaj Mishra ne local residents ke saath milkar dharna kiya tha, jiske baad center government ne project ko approve kiya tha. 4940 crore ka budget bhi allocate kiya gaya tha, aur project 2024-25 tak complete hone wala tha. Par delay ke wajah se, December 2023 mein fir se dharna hua, jiske baad Northern Railway ne land acquisition shuru kiya. Is rail line se transport easy hoga, employment opportunities banenge aur land ki price bhi badhegi.
