Meanwhile, a malfunction in the crossover point between Gwalior and Birla Nagar stations caused a disruption in train services for an hour. The Vande Bharat Express, traveling from Rani Kamalapati to Nizamuddin, was held up at Gwalior station, while the Shatabdi Express from Delhi was held at Birla Nagar. The issue was resolved by the Signal & Telecom department within an hour, allowing train services to resume.

Raziya's husband, Ashraf Ali, shared that they boarded the train in Jamnagar with their two children on Monday afternoon. As the train left Gwalior station, Raziya experienced labor pains and gave birth near Bhind station. The train, originally scheduled to go to Gorakhpur, had been diverted and was en route to Etawah. Passengers on the train, as well as the railway staff, provided support and assistance to the couple during the delivery.
