DRM Devasheesh Tripathi inspected the ongoing development works on the flyover and station on Friday. The railway is working on its portion near the railway crossing. Rameshwar instructed officials to complete the work quickly so that the remaining part can be connected and traffic can start. Railway officials and the contractor promised completion before February. Rameshwar asked the PWD Executive Engineer Javed Shakil to complete the third leg within the deadline. This will ease access from the CTO end and benefit those travelling to and from the airport. An additional eight crore rupees have been sanctioned for this. The station will also undergo development, including a new foot over bridge and a lift, which are expected to be completed by March 2025. In the second phase, a second entry will be built and an escalator will be installed. A multi-parking area is being constructed outside the station. The DRM expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work during the inspection.

On Friday morning, Vikrant Sharma, Assistant to the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, inspected the Sant Hirdaram Nagar Railway Station in Bhopal. slow pace of construction of the cement concrete road. They pointed out that the flyover construction on Fatak Road was causing difficulties in accessing the railway station's 'Vishram Ghat' (resting place for the deceased), forcing funeral vehicles to stop half a kilometer away, and requiring mourners to carry the body on their shoulders. They also highlighted the lack of lifts and escalators on platform 2, causing inconvenience to differently-abled and elderly passengers. Additionally, they expressed concerns about the lack of a proper slope on the foot over bridge, forcing passengers to climb stairs. Hingorani and Jaswani demanded the immediate construction of a new foot over bridge between platforms 3 and 4. Vikrant Sharma assured that he would submit a report to the Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and work towards a quick resolution to these issues. He informed that the Prime Minister had virtually inaugurated the redevelopment of the station on August 6, 2023, and the Railway Minister had directed him to review the progress of the redevelopment project and report back.

Friday subah, Bhopal mein Sant Hirdaram Nagar Railway Station ka inspection kiya Vikrant Sharma, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ke assistant.

The platforms are flooded with water, creating a slippery surface, and leaking water from the shed makes it difficult to board and alight from trains. The station is also...

marred by betel nut stains on the walls, stray cattle occupying the main entrance, and a lack of space for passengers due to parked auto-rickshaws. The station's single entrance leads to traffic jams, and trains often do not stop at their designated locations, forcing passengers to search for their coaches. Despite the heavy passenger traffic (over 5,000 daily) and numerous inconveniences, the railway management seems to be neglecting the situation.

Bhopal ke Sant Hirdaram Nagar railway station pe Amrit Bharat scheme ke under renovation chal raha hai, aur is wajah se passengers ko kaafi pareshani ho rahi hai. Platforms pe paani bhara rehta hai, jisse slippery surface ban jaata hai, aur shed se tapkta paani trains mein chadne aur utarne mein...

pareshani kar raha hai. Station ki walls pe gutkha ke nishan lag gaye hain, main entrance pe gaay ka kabza hai, aur parked auto-rickshaws ki wajah se passengers ko nikalne ki jagah nahi mil rahi hai. Station ka single entrance traffic jam kar raha hai, aur trains bhi apni designated jagah pe nahi ruk rahi hain, jisse passengers ko apna coach dhundne mein pareshani ho rahi hai. Itna bada passenger traffic (daily 5,000 se zyada) aur itni pareshani ke baavajood, railway management situation ko ignore kar raha hai.
