A special train will run between Mumbai and Asansol via Dhanbad on October 28th, 4th, and 11th November, and the return train will run on October 30th, 6th, and 13th November. Bookings have not yet opened for this train, but information about it is available on the IRCTC website. A special train will also run between Kolkata and Jammu Tawi via Dhanbad every Thursday from October 10th to November 14th. The return train will run every Tuesday from October 8th to November 12th. Bookings for this train have not yet opened, but are expected to begin on Friday or Saturday morning at 8 am.

Additionally, a Santragachi-Ajmer-Santragachi special train will run from September 30th to November 21st to accommodate the anticipated surge in passengers during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja. The Santragachi-Ajmer train will depart Santragachi every Monday at 10:40 PM and reach Ajmer on Wednesdays at 3:00 PM.
