The Gomti TBM's components were lowered into the 15-meter deep launch shaft a few days ago. The first tunnel in the approximately 4.10 km long underground section of Corridor-2 will be constructed from Rawatpur to the Corridor-2 Depot Ramp near Krishi Vishwavidyalaya. After this, the TBM will be launched from the Rawatpur Underground Station's launch shaft towards Kaka Devi, constructing a tunnel that will pass through Kaka Devi and Double Pulia, reaching the Double Pulia Ramp.
