with several passenger trains, including the Punjab Mail and Janata Express. Trains were stopped at Utrethia, Mohanlalganj, Sriraj Nagar, and Bachrawan stations, causing inconvenience to passengers. The tree, felled by a contractor near Kalander Kheda, fell on the track, severing the OHE wires. The incident was reported by the gateman to the Kanakha station master. A team of railway personnel, including senior divisional engineers, reached the site and removed the tree, repaired the OHE wires, and restored the track by 4:30 PM. The Lucknow-Raebareli intercity train was the first to depart after track restoration. The Bachrawan RPF in-charge filed a case against the contractor at the Nigohan police station. Nine trains, including the Arunachal AC Superfast, Nauchdi Express, Awadh Assam Express, Anand Vihar Muzaffarpur Garibrath, Farakka Express, Gorakhpur Express, Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express, Muzaffarpur Special, and Patna Special were delayed due to the incident. Villagers believe that a major accident could have occurred if the tree had fallen while a train was passing by. The senior divisional engineer confirmed that the train tracks were cleared, and damaged OHE wires, cantilevers, and study arms were repaired by the team. The contractor, who fled the scene, is being sought by authorities.

Kalander Kheda ke paas ek contractor ne track ke karib bina permission ke ped kaat raha tha, jisse ped OHE wires ko todte hue track pe gir gaya. Gateman ne Kanakha station master ko is incident ki jaankaari di. Senior divisional engineers ki team, railway personnel ke saath, maidaan pe pahunche aur ped ko hataaya, OHE wires ki marammat ki aur track ko 4:30 PM tak restore kar diya. Lucknow-Raebareli intercity train track restore hone ke baad pahli train thi jo chali. Bachrawan RPF in-charge ne Nigohan police station mein contractor ke khilaf ek muqadma darj karaaya. Nau trains, jaise Arunachal AC Superfast, Nauchdi Express, Awadh Assam Express, Anand Vihar Muzaffarpur Garibrath, Farakka Express, Gorakhpur Express, Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express, Muzaffarpur Special aur Patna Special, incident ki wajah se der se chalti rahi. Gaonwalon ka kehna tha ki agar ped kisi train ke guzarne ke dauraan track pe girta to bada hadsa ho sakta tha. Senior divisional engineer ne confirm kiya ki track ko clear kar diya gaya aur damaged OHE wires, cantilevers, aur study arms ko team ne repair kiya. Contractor, jo scene se bhaag gaya, uske baare mein jaanch ki ja rahi hai.

Bachhrawan railway station, he inspected the platform, circulating area, parking, office and employees' residential colony and instructed officials for improvements. He then learned about the station redevelopment works to be carried out under the Amrit Bharat scheme at Mohanlalganj railway station at a cost of Rs 7.24 crore and at Utrethia railway station at Rs 36.02 crore. The Chief Project Manager, Gati Shakti VS Yadav, Senior DCM Rekha Sharma, divisional officials and railway staff were present during the inspection. The DRM also inspected the parking, drinking water and platform at Rae Bareli Jn., where station redevelopment work is underway at a cost of Rs 40.69 crore under the Amrit Bharat scheme.
