Priority must had given to Bahraich-Jarwal Rail link only 60 KM rather than planning to extend New Railway line to Khalilabad. As said Lucknow is life line for Bahraich people. But the representative of people diverted the pressing issue (Bahraich-Jarwal Rail link) of this District. Converting meter Guage to Broad Guage from Bahraich to Gonda 60 KM and planning Electric line some where the priority is neglected and kept in dark. UPSRTC ordinary/AC buses fares are high and increase day by day.UPSRTC Bahraich-Lucknow buses has the monopoly and collects maximum revenue from this district.Indian Railway can generate maximum revenue by running passenger and goods trains through Bahraich-Jarwal Rail link.Unemployment is another pressing issue of this region if you are not able to set up industries here try to help people to migrate metro cities for jobs by providing rail connectivity to metro cities. In fact because of poor infrastructure in this district company are discouraged to set up the plant. Yes Ministry of Railway fund is inappropriately utilised.
